FUNERAL LIGHTING

During a funeral wake, the area where the casket is placed is typically well-lighted.Incandescent bulbs and fluorescent tubes are used for lighting application. In the evening when many visitors come, the area is very attractive. The flowers are well illuminated which sets the right atmosphere for sorrow and grief. Even in the morning, the funeral lights are on because the light symbolizes eternal life. The light will accompany the dead as he joins his creator. Relatives of the dead give the best so that his last stay on earth with them will be solemn and worth remembering. There are various bulbs that can be used for the funeral lighting. The lights provide an atmosphere that will allow everyone to pray and respect the dead. Obviously, these lights can be used for other purposes like bathroom lighting, kitchen lighting and bedroom lighting. However, the color that will be used should be appropriate for the place and occasion. Funeral lighting may be ordinary but it means a lot most especially when we mourn for the dead.
